Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trailer
What is “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”
The game’s background is of a rather modern and realistic setting. The mission comprises of British SAS and a CIA officer teaming up with rebels of Urzikstan, a fictional place. They then battle against Russian forces who have attacked and invaded the country. The Special Ops mode that the game has featured cooperative play missions, which again is a follow up of the main story. The game’s multiplayer mode is equipped to support cross-progression and cross-platform multiplayer for the first time. The game has been yet reworked to give the players a feel of missions that are more tactical and require more intense planning. Furthermore, the series has introduced newer features such as the Realism mode.
Infinity Ward had already begun working on the game in context soon after they had released another game of the series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, in 2016.
The game had received a mixed response before it was released. Some thought of the subject matter to be rather serious. However, after it was released it was welcomed with positive responses and reviews. The game of the series was even praised for its new features, multiplayer modes, gameplay, and even the very subject matter for which it was criticized earlier.
The game has two different modes, namely single players and multiplayer. The features and the gameplay to these different phases are different as well. In the single-player version of Modern Warfare, the missions aim to be more realistic and involve situations that consist of moral dilemmas. The campaigns are those that require more tactical planning, and the player is evaluated at the end of each game based on the choices he or she had made during the game. The players will be assigned a score after each game as well just as in any other game. There is collateral damages score, which is referred to as threat assessments. This score is based upon how many civilians are injured or killed by the player. The rank of it ranges from A to F. There are rewards for the highest scoring player and the dialogues of the character differ based on the kind of choices the player had made during the games.
The game’s multiplayer version has been revised. The new revised version has more tactical gameplay scopes, along with map exploration features, and as well as a realism mode that will remove the HUD. The game initially contained a feature of a mini-map. It was removed for a brief period to introduce compass style markers including a feature that would denote the enemy lines and allies but had to be then brought back on public demand Once the feature was brought back, however, the feature that denoted enemy lines and marks out the allies zones was no longer provided. The revised version also saw the return of scores being calculated based on the number of kills that the player had that is according to killstreaks rather than Scorestreaks. There however is an added advantage of another new feature called Pointman that allows you to convert your killstreaks into scorestreaks.
The game furthermore has an extensive and exclusive collection of arms and weapons. The guns that are provided have at least sixty attachments from which the player may choose from one at a time. The introduction to the multiplayer version of the game in context has also been upgraded. That is in place of the players standing still till the countdown of the game reached zero like it used to be earlier, now the player is to be transported to the battle zones directly via a series of animations.
Modern Warfare is, in fact, the first game of the Call Of Duty series to not have zombies in it since the 2013 release of Ghosts game of the same series. The present version consists of special ops and has a survival mode, which had its release during the launch of Play Station 4, as planned. The Special Ops feature has four Operations. Each of them is multi-objective missions and takes place on large open maps and requires compulsorily four players for the game.
