SIX PRINCIPAL TOURIST AREAS The map below shows those
areas in Baja where most tourist oriented activities take place. In all cases, much of the
land within the indicated areas is open space and the balance of the peninsula is also
largely undeveloped. There is plenty of elbowroom in Baja. The Six Tourist Areas are
discussed in detail in Chapter 2 of The
Magnificent Peninsula guidebook.
