Don Eddie's -  San Quintin
Fish Report

SAN QUINTIN

San Quintin was cloudy with some showers. Cold in the mornings warming up
by 9:00 a.m. Wind was mild, temperature on the mid seventies. Water
temperature varied from 56 to 59 degrees.

We had few pangas out during the week only four reporting yellow tails. Iron Jigs did the job, some with bits of squid on the hooks yellow tails are present but it takes patient and hard work. In the winter month you have to yoyo for them. Bottom fish were plentiful as usual.

Juanita and Joe Martin stayed with us this week. We love you Jose and Juanita.

Hi!  I am forwarding these photos of my giant black sea bass caught December 27, 2001 in San Quintin, Baja at the request of the owner, Carlos Marquez. It weighed 98 pounds and was caught on a panga out of Don Eddies Landing. I highly recommend Don Eddies! What a fun trip!
